Arts Programme

Cheshire County Council Arts Service is working with a range of partners, including District and Borough Councils and Arts organisations to develop a year long Arts programme for 2008, which will form a key element of the celebrations.

Cheshire's Year of Gardens '08 is not seen as a one off event. It will be a springboard for the development of a wider Cultural biennial celebration in the County. In order to achieve this there is a need to strengthen the cultural infrastructure in the County and undertake a capacity building programme. There will be a series of skills development and training sessions throughout the year which will focus on developing skills for future delivery of large events and festivals in the County.
