The National Accessible Scheme (NAS)

The National Accessible Scheme provides a set of standards against which establishments are assessed for their accessibility and awarded a rating. The NAS was developed following extensive consultation with accommodation providers, guests and many organisational bodies representing people with access requirements, together with the UK’s National Tourist Boards.
There are standards for serviced accommodation, self-catering and holiday parks, which cover mobility, hearing and visual impairment. The standards have been designed to allow people with access requirements to make an informed choice.
