Restaurant Association

Research shows that good quality places to eat and drink are the second most important consideration for people planning their holiday breaks.

The Restaurant Association of Chester and Cheshire is a membership body covering the full spectrum of eating establishments.

It is a forum through which they can share best practice, access funding for training and quality initiatives, and benefit from improved promotion and marketing. The association will contribute to building the image of Chester and Cheshire as a destination synonymous with quality food and drink.

The association works closely with Made in Cheshire to achieve a greater use of local produce in restaurants and in helping to develop the local food and drink festivals in showcasing the best that Cheshire and Warrington have to offer.

The restaurant association is managed jointly between Stephen Wundke, a restaurateur from Chester and Visit Chester and Cheshire.

The kinds of activity delivered through the restaurant association include conferences, training courses, marketing and involvement in the 3 Food and drink festivals that take place in Cheshire.
