Myth Busting Event

In partnership with West Cheshire College and JobCentre Plus, we are hosting a ‘Myth Busting’ event at the Crowne Plaza Chester on the 9th September 2010.

The objective for this event is to change people’s perceptions of working in the hospitality industry and to give attendees an understanding of the various employment opportunities available within the sector.

We are looking for 20 members who would like to partner us with this event, which will take place on the Thursday between 2pm and 7pm.  We would invite each partner to have a member of staff perform a skill used within their work and would like all aspects of work covered including slightly obscure roles.

We will also have ten 15-20minute slots on-stage demonstrating either a skill (eg. Butchery) or motivational talk (eg. for Apprenticeship to Manager).

JobCentre Plus will be inviting their clients to attend the event, so if you have any vacancies available, especially Christmas vacancies, please bring details with you.
