Message from our Chief Executive - Business as usual

Further to the recent budget announcement that the NWDA along with the other 8 Regional Development Agencies would be abolished in March 2012, Visit Chester & Cheshire will continue its current planned activity to help grow the visitor economy in Cheshire and Warrington.

At this time it is to early to be definitive about the impact of the budget cuts that the NWDA will face this year but VCC will carefully review all activity and make appropriate reductions where they will have a minimum impact.

Further details will be communicated to all our stakeholders as matters become clearer but VCC’s plan is very much to continue its work to deliver our mission to grow the region's visitor economy.
