Local Enterprise Partnership Business Consultation
Northwich Memorial Hall, 10th or 11th August 2010

I am pleased to invite you to this consultation on Local Enterprise Partnerships. This event is for private sector businesses and their representative organisations in Cheshire and Warrington.

The purpose of the event is to:

  • Agree the remit of the LEP from a business perspective
  • Start the process of identifying and agreeing the priorities for public sector intervention via the Regional Growth Fund
  • Update you on guidance/signals from Government on LEPs and on the Regional Growth Fund
  • Update you on the proposed structure of the bid

The timescale for the bid is very tight with the final submission having to be made no later than 6th September. The consultation event is scheduled for Tuesday 10th August from 8am to 10am. This will be repeated on Wednesday 11th August from 5pm to 7pm to ensure maximum attendance. Please click here for further information regarding these events and to register.

Recognising that this is the peak holiday period you can also respond via our website (click here) and we would welcome your views on a) what you think the remit of the LEP should be, and b) what you think should be the main investment priorities,  by noon on Monday 23rd August 2010.
