Chester Festivals

Chester Festivals (CF) is as an emerging agency set up to facilitate the growth and development of the festivals and events in Cheshire West and Chester (CWAC).  The primary purpose of the agency is the programming, delivery, marketing, fundraising and development work for the Chester Summer Music Festival and Shell Chester Literature Festival. In addition, CF provide appropriate services and promote best practice to other festivals, projects and events, both established and emerging, across the new authority of CWAC. CF seek to create opportunities for high quality deliverers of creative product and offer significant festivals and event organisers the opportunity in future years to come under the CF umbrella. CF is a membership organisation; working with members on joint funding and sponsorship initiatives and promoting them as part of a strong annual calendar of events to both Chester’s visitor and local markets.
