Connexions Cheshire & Warrington – giving young people the best start in life.



Connexions Cheshire & Warrington delivers a quality, impartial information, advice and guidance service for all 13 to 19 year olds.  Its key aims are to help young people reach their full potential as they progress in to adult life and encourage them to stay on education and training.

Assessing the Service:
Personal Advisors, working in schools, colleges and the community, give young people the support they need, to access the education, work and support opportunities appropriate for them.  Young people and their parents can also get information, advice and guidance at the eight high street Connexions Centres in Chester, Congleton, Crewe, Ellesmere Port, Macclesfield, Northwich, Winsford and Warrington.  Connexions also has a well used website, which has over 5,000 visitors every month.  Through this site, young people can browse current local employment and training vacancies, access career matching programmes, find out about local support agencies and email or chat online to a personal Advisor.
